Tennis Sign-Up Party This Saturday 20 April from 2-6p
| Hello Everyone, another season is under way for tennis….Well a few dates to remember, one is the Sign-up gathering will be THIS Saturday April 21st from 2-6p at Woody’s Bar located at 1579 South 2nd Street. There will be a beer bust special that day, so come out and meet the board and other tennis members. For those who need to be rated we will have two Sunday dates for you May 13th and May 20th from 11a -1p on both dates..Also, these dates will be open for members who want to hit around and meet other members. The League plays at Wick Field located on 50th and Vliet on Sundays with two shifts 11a-1p and 1 – 3p… We will be keeping stats again this year so it’s important that you play your matches every week. The Fee this year is $50 per person includes court fees, balls and gathering at the end of year..The season will start June 3, 2012…..The website for the league is under construction but will let you know when its available…For those who want to join but cannot make it to the sign-up party you can complete the form and send to address at the bottom of the form with a check payable to Milwaukee Metro Tennis Club… Hope to see Y’all there…Any Questions you can email me at moenell@sbcglobal.net |

MGSN Basketball – December Open Gyms

Finally, basketball is here! Mark your calendars for the first of hopefully many bi-monthly Open Gyms starting Monday, December 5th at the Kosciuszko Community Center. After much searching, we were able to secure this gym for an hour, starting at 7pm, with the intent on possibly extending this time frame once we get up and running and eventually forming a league down the road. We will play some informal pick-up games to 15, or in 10 minute intervals, whichever comes first. We ask that each participant donate $5 to help cover the cost of the rental. We are hoping to secure sponsorships to help alleviate this cost as we grow.

For Green Bay Packers vs. St. Louis Ram on October 16th game. Raffle tickets are $10 each for two seats in end zone (Value $70 each) Drawing will be held at Boom/Room on October 8th. There will be a fundraiser show with the drawing held in between the show. You can buy raffle tickets at the following bars; Boom, Room, Woody’s, Walker’s Pint, ETC, Ballgame and Fluid. HIT Market Days Fundraiser
Holiday Invitational Bowling Tournament is hosting a fundraiser to go to Chicago’s Market Street Days Festival this Saturday, August 13!
